Writing our own 'If You Give A..." Books!

After writing our class book, "If You Give a Rat Roast Beef" small groups planned, wrote and illustrated their very own. We are excited to share them with you during our conferences.

Fire Prevention Day

Building Reading Stamina

Each day we have been adding a few minutes to our independent reading time. Our goal is to sustain our reading for 30 minutes...we are almost there!

Shelburne Museum

Wow! What a beautiful fun-filled day we had at the museum today! We made candles, ice cream and johnny cakes! We visited the school house where we had an old fashioned spelling lesson, created art on the printing press, bartered at the general store and even snuck in a ride on the carousel!  They will all sleep well tonight!
