Laura Numeroff Book Project

We have been reading lots and lots of books by Laura Numeroff this week. Students read many of them with a partner and then shared all they noticed about the patterns and author's craft used in the "If You Give A...." series. (You may know, "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie")

Then we wrote our own class book modeled after the originals. Ask you child to tell you about, "If You Give a Rat Roast Beef".  After we illustrate our class book, small groups will write and illustrate their own! So excited to see our writers publish their first book soon!
